Newmark Knight Frank is seeking a Jr. Multi-media Design Specialist to join their New York City office. The primary responsibilities of this position is to develop creative, dynamic sales presentation materials for commercial real estate brokers to win new business. This business is fast-paced and requires someone who is highly motivated, proactive, dependable, professional and works well as part of a team.
Qualifications and Responsibilities
The Business Development Strategies department depends on team effort. We are looking for someone with the following qualifications:
- Conceptualize and design dynamic presentations and print materials for existing and prospective clients
- Ability to design, produce and coordinate customized pitch materials for final delivery in the form of printed books, large format banners, multimedia on-screen presentations, video, etc.
- Create Flash animations and animated GIFs files
- Create sophisticated PowerPoint animations
- Creativity, must have a good eye for design and presentation
- Strong proofreading, writing and editing skills
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented and responsible - diligent worker with a high standard for work product
- Ability to manage multiple, simultaneous presentations and prioritizing workload
- Quick learner with strong interest and willingness to learn new software
- Help coordinate the flow of research and financial data into the presentations work product
- Manage the presentation log to record all ongoing activity
- Capacity to work in a demanding, deadline-driven environment
- Flexibility to work overtime when necessary with little notice
Software Knowledge
- Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook and Adobe Acrobat
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop
- Proficiency in Flash/Actionscript
- Knowledge of video editing software, After Effects, Premiere Pro
- Willingness to learn new software
