Newmark Knight Frank Epic, the Chicago area industrial office for Newmark Knight Frank, is a full service operation specializing in the leasing, sales, management and development of warehouse, distribution and manufacturing facilities on behalf of user clients and institutional and high-net-worth property owners.
Newmark Knight Frank Epic is a dominant player in the Chicagoland industrial brokerage community. Our volume of completed sale and lease transactions and number of completed transactions per broker places us among the leaders in delivering global real estate services to corporate clients.
The story of Newmark Knight Frank Epic is synonymous with innovative transactions and unparalleled service. Formerly known as Epic Realty Partners, the firm was formed in 1993 as a result of the merger of three well-known Chicago-area real estate brokerage firms – Howard E. Kaplan and Company, founded in 1961, Savage Realty Group, founded in 1985, and Epic Realty, begun in 1991. Currently, Newmark Knight Frank Epic has 20 industrial brokers, 10 of whom are active principals.
The firm deploys brokerage teams in all major industrial submarkets throughout the region’s six-county Chicago metropolitan service area. Our brokers are submarket specialists, tracking daily all significant activity in their territory in order to deliver the best available knowledge and expertise to our clients. When a broker relationship takes him or her to another submarket, we supplement the team by involving the in-house “expert” to provide insight and support to the requirement.
We enhance our full-service capabilities through memberships such as the Association of Industrial Real Estate Brokers (AIRE), the largest real estate broker association in Illinois. Additionally, the company encourages and supports the application and membership of our professionals to the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR). Our active involvement in SIOR and AIRE supports our commitment to confidently handle our clients’ requirements with the utmost professional service.
